Cool Kite Tricks and Cocos Ricos

I have included a fun video of my 'pipa' (green conocut) vendor preparing my coconut juice for drinking - in action! Yes indeed, it was delicious to sip while watching the kites float around on the beach. My addiction to coconut juice is growing - I can't seem to get enough, and they are three times the cost here as I pay in Costa Rica. I fear I'll be broke soon.

As promised, photos of the bay here in Cabarete. They are currently holding a competition called "Master of the Ocean" which includes Surfing, Kiting, and Wind Surfing. I hope to go check it out tomorrow!

La Republica Dominicana

I landed in the Dominican Republic today after working my last day Friday, flying to D-town on Monday to help my bro. with a project, and then leaving at midnight for a layover in Newark last night, I finally arrived in the Carribean this afternoon! There are hundreds of kiters in the bay right in front of the beautiful place I have the pleasure of staying in. I promise to post a photo once I get motivated to wander down with my camera and snap one - it's a truly amazing site. The weather is beautiful, and the water is more chilly than I had anticipated therefore I may be purchasing a shorty wetsuit before long! More later.........now sleep..........
